Ehsaas Langar Khana Program 2025
The purpose of the Ehsaas Langar Khana is to feed the poorest and most backward sections of society, especially day laborers, for free.
Through a public-private partnership, Ehsaas will open 112 Langar Khana across the country in two years.
Here’s How Ehsaas Langar Khana Program 2025 Implemented
The government is fully cooperating with Ehsaas Langar Khana through a public-private partnership in the following three areas.

The first is logistical support, as charities often face strong resistance to setting up anchor points where they are badly needed. The reason for this resistance is usually fear of market and local government encroachment on public lands, and the opening of the anchorage affects the business of the local dhabas and the carts that sell food there.

- Government plays its role in determining safety and quality.
- The government disseminates information on a large scale.
The first Ehsaas Langar Khana was opened on October 7, 2019, in Islamabad, where at least 800 people receive free meals every day. To date, 33 anchorages have been opened in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad through a public-private partnership. More are being worked on.
