Educational institutions across Pakistan were due to reopen on May 24th. The decision to keep them closed until June 7 was made due to the high rate of coronavirus infection in the country. So far, the virus has claimed 20,930 lives in Pakistan. The country reported at least 80 deaths and 1,843 new cases in the past 24 hours.
