The Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) suspended Umar Akmal from all forms of cricket for 3 years on Monday for allegations of corruption.
“Umar Akmal has issued a 3 year ban on all crickets from disciplinary committee chairman Mr. Justice (retired) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan,” tweeted by PCB.

PCB anti-corruption officials accused Umar of failing to report an approach by which he exposed fixed games in season five of the Pakistan Super League (IPL) in two separate cases.
Umar akmal, that was temporarily suspended on 20th February and is not allowed to play in the PSL for his Quetta Gladiators franchise, has been accused of violating Article 2.4.4 of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code.
The Code on Article 2.4.4 states: “Do not disclose (without unnecessary delay) to the PCB Surveillance and Security Department all details of an approach or invitation the participant has received to engage in corrupt behavior in accordance with this Anti-Corruption Code.”
Umar had until March 31 to respond to the righteous reason message sent to him by the circuit board, but decided not to question it.
The PCB then referred the matter to the President of the Disciplinary Committee (retired) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan, former judge at the Lahore Supreme Court.
Umar also escaped a PCB ban in February for allegedly giving rude comments to a coach during an fitness test at NCA in Lahore.
