Kabul Attack: 13 Killed, 42 Injured in Afghanistan Bus Bombings

According to the Afghan Interior Ministry, the first explosion occurred in Zabul province, where a passenger bus collided with a roadside bomb, killing 11 passengers and injuring 28.

The second explosion occurred in Parwan province, where another bus hit a roadside bomb. As a result, 2 people died and 9 were injured.

According to the Afghan Interior Ministry, security in the region has been strengthened after the attacks and controls. The wounded were taken to nearby hospitals while the Taliban are involved in both attacks. The statement was not made public.

Meanwhile, Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai has described the escalation of terrorism as alarming for peace and democracy in Afghanistan. On Twitter, the 23-year-old activist responded to the deadly attacks in Kabul, saying that world leaders must unite to protect school children.

In Kabul, terrorists carried out a terrible attack on school children, most of the girls. The escalation of terrorism is alarming for peace and democracy in Afghanistan.”

She added: “World leaders need to unite to protect school-age children. My heart goes out to the families of the victims of the #Kabul School.”
