Join Pak Army Technical Cadet Course 2023
The Pakistan Army is inviting applications to join its engineering corps as non-commissioned officers. FSc and ICS Pre-Engineering students are eligible to apply for Pakistan Army Technical Cadet Course. Successful candidates are offered admission to NUST university and their education is fully sponsored by the Pakistan Army. After completing a four-year degree, candidates join the Pakistani Army as a captain.
A regular commission is offered to the successful candidates and the candidates are eligible to join the Pakistan Army as Engineers and Officers upon graduation.
Online registration opens on 26th December 2022. The application deadline for the 34th Pak Army Technical Cadet Course is 10th February 2023.
Academic/Military Course For Technical Cadets 2023
- Education: 4-year engineering degree.
- Military Training: After earning a bachelor’s degree in engineering, the cadets complete a one-year military training course at PMA Kakul.
Engineering Disciplines And Institutions
Successful candidates will study one of the following courses at the respective NUST Campuses:
- Risalpur Military College of Engineering: Civil Engineering
- Military College of Signals, Rawalpindi: Electricity
- Communications engineering and computer engineering
- Rawalpindi College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering:
- Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, system informatics, mechatronics
- University of Aviation Engineering, Risalpur: Aviation Engineering
Pakistan Army Cadet Technical Course 2023 Admission Criteria
- Age – 17 – 21 years (relaxable for three months at the upper and lower age limit)
- Male gender
- relationship single
- Nationality. Pakistani citizen. In the final selection, dual nationality candidates must renounce any nationality other than Pakistani.
- physical standards
(1) Minimum height: “- 5′ – 4″ (162.5 cm)”
(2) Weight: based on body mass index (BM!)
- Training. FSc (Pre Engineering) – Physics, Mathematics. Degree in chemistry/computer science/computer science with a minimum grade of 65% or passed O-level (English required) in five subjects and passed A-level in mathematics, physics, and chemistry I computer science with grades A-C.
- Applicants with qualifications such as O-level and A-level etc. You must obtain a Certificate of Equivalence and Conversion of Qualifications from the Inter-Council Chairmen’s Committee (JBCC), Ministry of Education, Islamabad and attach it to the application form with an A-level to add math. Physics, chemistry, computers I Computers are mainly found in classes A-C.
- Candidates who have passed the FSc Part I exam with a minimum of 65% and sit the FSc Part II/Final exam may also apply for ‘HOPE Certificates’ duly issued by the Head of the Institution. However, these applicants must send their FSc Part II registration number and school board name to GHQ, PA Branch (PA-3b), Rawalpindi along with a photocopy of the registration number.
- The final result cards / FSc score sheets must be sent within one week of the announcement of the results of the FSc meeting; Otherwise, applicants will not be considered for final merit.
- Candidates who have passed the FSc in Computer Science can only apply for Software Engineering.

Registration And Preselection Process For The Cadet Technical Course
Candidates can apply online or visit the Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RC). The following procedure is adopted:
Online registration Pak Army Cadet Course: Candidates can register at joinpakarmy.gov.pk. The date and time of the test must be communicated via the Internet, for which the person must have an email account. Candidates give the exact date and time for the pre-examination test to the non-slip computer-controlled reel. Once entered, the date will not be changed. On the day of the examination, the candidates also bring the documents mentioned in paragraph 6 and pay the booklet fee.
Applicants MUST acquire practical computer skills as registration and examination are conducted on computers.
Register For AS&RC: Candidates may go to the nearest AS&RC with the required documents referred to in paragraph 6 and the brochure fees to register and assign the role number to complete the registration formalities. Candidates also bring these documents with them on the day of the exam.
